1.We can add some tax like "jyoti tax" in luxurious items so that govt. of India provide cheaper LED lights to poor people. 2.State govt. and private power co. can give LED lights to every customer and collect the cost of Bulbs in installments with electricity bill. 3.Forcing Bulb making companies to stop the production of incandescent light bulbs.

...contd.. Similarly, such tax can be introduced in which people will have to pay extra tax if they use high wattage bulbs. However, people falling below poverty line should be exempted of these taxes. These taxes should also be proportional to the income of the people ( can be ascertained using our income tax system) so that the wealthy should be get away just by thinking that the taxes are of low amount.

In order to deal with such situation, I would like to present before you a case study of London. In London, in order to avoid traffic jams in important areas , a CONGESTION TAX was introduced. This included extra taxes (like toll tax) for people who wanted to use those streets. This enabled the govt. to weed out those motorists who could have opted for an alternative route thus helping reduce the traffic congestion in important location. .. contd

Corrupt officers working in procurement wings of various central ministries are very thankful to their present PM, power minister for ordering conversion to LED lights in govt offices. Despite all instructions of Finance Ministry, on transparent and bribery free purchases, corrupt officers always find ways to bypass it and get their percentage. This is only one example. Modiji, when you will take interest in eliminating retail corruption, which is affecting all 125 cr. citizens in daily life.

If solar panel and LED bulbs are distributed by Panchayet at low cost, villagers can have electricity for their children's study and home needs. Modi Gov can issue order to this effect all over India. Then we have "Lighted Bharat".

I have used LED light with good result. It's available in online stores at cheap rate. Much money and power can be saved if we replace our tube lights and CFL with LED bulbs. Our PM has encouraged its use with good reasons.
