Was travelling on Akbar Road in Delhi few days back @ 11:00 PM @ the junction of Akbar Road and Race Course road , where we have barricades for PM's security the bunkers/post of security guards still have incandescent bulbs rather than LEDs or CFLS..PMO office please take note and lead by example .. :)

Price point of traditional bulb and CFL/LED is big show stopper in mass adoption of this potential energy saver area for whole country. Energy subsidies being given at various level can be diverted at least for 1-2 years towards mass production of CFL/LED so that price per unit can be brought under 10/- Rs ...this will have huge n huge impact in terms of energy saving across the country .

LED lights are the latest household applaince innovation, so it should be made tax free and for BPL and other weaker sections , if they have their electricity connection, then as per their connection no and that to be linked with their aadhar No. , they are to be provided subsidy upto 90% to purchase LED and other innovations .

also added with rahul dutt points gov must make led bulbs and solar panels avilable @ lower rates that can be purchased by common man and make solar electricity production to farmers who have land can offer energy produced to elec comp and so they can get some more income from the land which is left also provide loans for solar panel purchase with upto 90% subsidy by gov will help accelerate solar power use

Make in India 1 increase production of LED 2 TAX examtions for production of LED 2 TO 5 YRARS 3 increase the demand of LED by educating people 4 Incrase use of LED IN GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE companies 5 let us start a LED using movement, so every India can try to participate in using LED 6 ENERGY WHICH IS SAVED FROM LED USEAGE CAN BE USED FOR DEVELOPING INDIA
