Good quality and reducing waste will enormously reduce expenses. Employ qualified inspectors to procure food grains in FCI with proper storage facility in godowns. In Karnataka recently several tonnes of rice is wasted due to lack of proper storage facility and ignorance of officials. Corruption is also at its peak with KSFSC rice found in private godowns and in transport vehicles. Strict Auditing and CCTV cameras with online vigilance should be installed in godowns to avoid corruption.

Every Indian is proud of the various development schemes announced by our New Government recently. All these schemes are having long vision of developed India. We appreciate the vision of our beloved PM having dedicated vision for real development. For honest implementation we require timely watch of each scheme with dedicate partnership of every indian citizen. Though all these ideas of developments are also announced previously by one or the other but we failed to implement the same honestly & consistently. I submit my personal suggestions as under, 1) As cherity starts from home we have to watch & confirm dedicated honest participation of our implementing agencies. 2) To stop / irradiate corruption all Government employees & politicians should be asked to give their assets detailed within 30 days & it should be put on website for every one to see. Any discrepancy be viewed seriously. 3) There is vast difference in our KATHNI & KARNI. The Govt department employees starting the mission himself dnt follow the ideal ways. For example, Electricity is wasted in the offices of Electricity Board's itself, similarly water is wasted. The Head of the department be held responsible for strict implementation to stop national wastage. 4) Expenditure incurred for one scheme (Road, sewerage, water line etc ) is repeated due to bad quality of work carried out. Officials be made responsible & action be initiated for improper quality. 5) Decision / action / disposal of public grievances etc process be made fast by implementing TIME BOUND PROGRAM. It is relaxed by the departments as all are having joint partnership & hesitate to initiate action against the partners. 6) Attendance & movements of Govt employees be made biometric as officials are not honest for their duties. This will help fast implementation /action. 7) Govt bodies (Municipal Board, Corporation..) be asked to give their action reports for national program. There is lot to say. I will be happy to participate in any development program of Nation. R.S.Sarda

Due to corruption cost of projects and out sourced works is at least double of what it could have been normally.Due to laziness, lack of attention and responsibility, assured job , near total immunity ,too many paid holidays ,rather high salary, the revenue expenditure is too high

We at our IT company (one of the largest in the world with revenues of over USD 50bn) have often discussed one simple thing: can each city and neighbourhood see exactly how much money was spent on it, including infrastructure. Most companies today talk about big data. Imagine how much constructive analysis could come out of making this data easily accessible to every citizen on a GOI website.

Govt. should create a Debt Recovery Bank(DRB), The sole purpose of this bank will be to recover bad loans of PSU Banks. what ever money DRB recovers 50% will go to recapitalize banks. 50% for Public welfare schemes. Since DRB does no do another banking activity except debt recovery, success rate will be more and PUBLIC Money would be recovered

One good thing that happened during Emergency was displaying of rate list of various items to be sold by a shopkeeper. The same system can adopted at least in the case of food items and other daily use items so that consumers are saved from overcharging by dishonest shopkeepers.
