ONLY BOARD EXAM SCORES ARE STILL DETERMINING ENTRY TO COLLEGES. THERE SHOULD BE OTHER FACTORS LIKE SPORTS, EXTRA - CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES - THEATRE, MUSIC, ART, DEBATE etc. NO CORRELATION EXISTS BETWEEN SCORES & REAL LIFE APPLICATIONS. SYLLABUS SHOULD BE REVISED EVERY 5 YEARS & OVERHAULED EVERY 10 YEARS. MORE PRACTICAL SKILLS SHOULD BE TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS & COLLEGES.

It is the need of the hour to add some content related to moral education in the curriculum from primary to secondary level in order to bridge the increasing gender gap and to make the new generation more sensible and responsible towards different groups of society. school can play an important role in this regard

All educational institutions including schools,colleges,universities should have co-Ed system to bridge gender gap. Students from all schools should regularly interact with other school children both from their own locality as well as from other districts, states & countries.This will help them in better understanding of different cultures, social backgrounds,caste,languages,religions & nationalities.Student Exchange program between schools,colleges,universities & countries should be encouraged

Open libraries throughout the country where students at all levels can go to read, learn, and study the subjects of their interest.

I'm from IIT Gandhinagar and I've learnt the usefulness of humanities courses regarding culture and launguage over here. Colleges nowadays have only core courses. Subjects talking about Vedas, poems on ancient poets, questioning patriarchy, Sex Education, gender gap, freedom of speech can be done by including critical thinking courses. Liberally thinking professors should be appointed. Educating girl child will not bridge the gap. Educating both of genders will help.

Educate students during the primary phase of education about the national and international demographic and geographic varieties in brief. Not so that they learn and forget everything after theory exams but inculcate and remember in spirit to love and respect each individual irrespective of that individual's demographic and geographic background always in their lives.

1.The new education policy should : (a) restore self-esteem in Indians by deleting from the text-books all content glorifying invaders/colonisers & adding in detail the nationalist material. (b) help build national character by substantially increasing in text-books the moral/spiritual content drawn from our rich cultural heritage. (c) make 'yoga' compulsory in all schools/colleges. (d) initiate a campaign against tobacco products,alcohol and drugs right from primary text-books

Allow mobility to girl child by providing cycles, allow women specific subjects should be taught in schools like , pregnancy cycle and common infant diseases, cooking, It will parents that some value add is there. Who just passing class 10th and knowing Pythagoras theorem or why north pole has six month night helps a villages. Its null , lets give little flexibility in curriculum for girl child.
