While the general participation rates in higher education has been steadily increasing and today our HE GER is 21.5%, this is not evenly spread across social groups and women. Equitable growth is essential to sustain higher GER rates and hence what kinds of affirmative action could be suggested to reduce gender and social disparities in here.

विद्या भेदभाव रहित सत्य प्रधान हो सद्भावी सत्यान्वेषी बन्धुओं ! विद्या का क्षेत्र प्रत्येक बालक के लिये समान होना चाहिए । जन्म के आधार पर कोर्इ भेद-भाव या बँटवारा कदापि नहीं होनी चाहिये । विद्या का क्षेत्र प्रत्येक बालक के लिए समान रूप से खुला होना या खुला रहना चाहिये । विद्या अध्ययन के श्रेणियों में विद्यार्थियों का योग्यता एवं क्षमता के अनुसार ही, न कि जनम (वर्ग- जाति) के अनुसार प्रवेश मिलना चाहिये। http://www.bsbg.org/11.aspx#section77

2 .2 दोषों से बचना-बचाये रखना अनिवार्य वास्तव में विद्यार्थी जो र्इमान-सच्चार्इ-संयम-सेवा भाव से युक्त होते हैं, वे सर्वत्र ही आदर-सम्मान पाते हैं । उन्हें सभी प्राणी ही आदर के भाव से देखते और उनका गुणगान गाने लगते हैं, जिसका परिणाम यह होता है कि विद्यार्थी का भाव और साहस और भी बढ़ने लगता है । .......................................http://www.bsbg.org/2.aspx#section17

1.4 अपना 'कर्तव्य' देखें, 'अधिकार' नहीं सदभावी मानव बन्धुओं ! आजकल यत्र-तत्र-सर्वत्र यही देखा जा रहा है कि सभी कर्मचारी, अधिकारी, सामाजिक संस्थायें, राजनीतिक नेता गण आदि आदि प्राय: सभी के सभी ही अपने अधिकारों के माँग में ही लगे हैं। कोर्इ सभा कर रहा है तो कोर्इ जुलूस निकाल रहा है। कोर्इ सांकेतिक और कलम बंद हड़ताल कर रहा है तो कोर्इ पूर्ण हड़ताल ही करने-कराने में लगा है । ........................ http://www.bsbg.org/1.aspx#section4

Ms. Kiran bedi's idea of schools in shifts is a very good idea... 2 shifts of 4.5 hours each --- 8.00 to 12.30 and 1.30 to 6.00

There should be such a policy that the students of lower classes need not to study all subjects. If a student is interested in science than he should study science only.In this way we can give better education and the career of students would grow.
