Equitable growth is essential to sustain higher GER rates and hence what kinds of affirmative action could be suggested to reduce gender and social disparities in here.

Learning by practicals by self ie by students by own handes by giving proper time to understand instead of rembering evrything .we can see facts in books which we remember but learn only by practicals in proper time in which we gets encouragemennt and our area of interest in which we want to know something.

We need to encourage creativity in schools than number of subjects they have to study. Now a days 1st class student carry books more than his weight. We are putting lot of pressure on them to get marks and we dont check how much they really learned from the class. There should be option to elect what interest them to study and we need to make sure every field gets equal job opportunities so that we are not pushing everyone to be a Doctor or Engineer. We graduate in one field, work in IT.

Our social gaps could never be collapsed with the current reservation as it is based on caste clearly. Instead the reservation system should be based on annual income and social status of guardians. Otherwise, a rich ST candidate will get all benefits and a poor general class candidate will not avail any of the facilities in spite of having better capabilities due to lack of money. And this is a major reason of division of society.

Dear PM, let us not make students job oriented instead we can provide them character making education which helps to lead a principled life and support nation building by providing a platform to collaborate with respective govt. activities at the various levels.

Education should quench the thirst of ignited young minds because they are distracted too rapidly so we must focus on the varied dimension for multi sectorial development of education with a more scientific approach. The current education needs a grass root level changes so that it becomes more productive and not just a stinking mugging. What we are manufacturing are clerks and not the pioneers. This situation must change. I am ready to give all type of guidance and ready to work 24 hours.

Instead of spending a lot on aiims like institutions, they should focus on strengthen the state institutions which provide medical education and promote funding for research based acitivity. Make and start a healthy competition amongst all teaching hospitals and promote university style education in medical schools for better health of people. Just reducing doctor patient ratio will not help but the good quality doctors will definitely help. Dr. Dhruv Mamtora, MD
