Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.
Our villages and the people who live there are a true custodians and manifestation of our culture.
As we work towards more sustainable development of our country, developing related hard and soft infrastructure and promoting tourism in rural India is much required.

Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with MyGov invites you to share your views ideas on Rural India- How it can leverage tourism.

Movement of youth to cities should stop. Cultural heritage should be preserved. Caste differences among the Hindus should neutralize. Folk/ancient art-forms should be preserved. Villages should sustain on its own. People should be more hospitable. Basic education in villages should be similar to that of cities. Basics - water, electricity, cleanliness, greenness, clean living facility for tourists, handicrafts, zero plastics, zero liquor, no smoke zones, 100% security - all under strict watch.

Mahatma Gandhi had said go to villages. Villages have great potential, capacity for healthy life and employment. Rural tourism can be most successful due to originality of nature, air and water. Pollution of all types is less and should be maintain while progressing rural tourism. Lakes, wells, rivers, forest, mountains are seen in villages, chirping of birds, vasudev roaming from home to home and most important humanity, social nearness, to do good act for benefits of society is villagers goal.

सादर प्रणाम, लगभग30,वर्ष पूर्व का village, जहां तालाब,बाग एवम् पर्याप्त खाली सरकारी भूमि होती थी पर उसको विकसित करने की बजाय नष्ट किया गया। पर्यटन संभावना बढ़ाने के लिए इन सब व्यवस्थाओं को पुनर्जीवित करके उसमें न्यू आइडिया जोड़ कर प्रयास होना चाहिए। सुंदर झोपड़ी उसके सामने सुसज्जित तालाब एवम् ढेर सारे विभिन्न प्रकार के वृक्ष। इस कार्य में उस विलेज के विद्यालय अध्यापक को जिम्मेदार बनाया जाय।प्रधान किसी भी विलेज को विकसित तो कर नहीं पाए तो उन पर विश्वास पैसे की बरबादी क्योंकि प्रधान पर नो कंट्रोल

1.Identify the potential places. 2.Build approach Roads. This is only chance to build forgotten roads of rural sector. 3.Plantations, avenues to be developed. 4.Tourist accommodation to be built. 5.The information of Tourist Spots to be made available at Every Bus Terminal, Railway station and Airport. Brochures to be distributed. 6.Websites to be updated, information to be popularized in Social Media. 7.Attractive packages to be announced in offices and establishments.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी, सादर प्रणाम आपके द्वारा किया गया प्रयास पर्यटक स्थल बहुत विकसित हुए है और इस काम की सराहना पूरा देश करता है और पर्यटक स्थल जाहे गाँव हो या शहर आपने सभी जगह को विकसित किया है परंतु उस सभी जगह बहुत ज्यादा महंगाई का सामना आम जनता को करना पड़ता हैं कृपया आप से नम्र निवेदन है की उस सभी जगह लोगो के लिए सस्ता पर्यटक स्थल होनेसे आम जनता उसका लाभ उठा सके और उनका सपना साकार हो सके।

पर्यटन के लिये जंगल पठारी भाग ग्रामिण इलाकों मे कई तरह के पर्यटन को बढ़वा दिया जाय तो काफी सुन्दर होसकता है

पर्यटन अर्थव्यवस्था में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है साथ ही पर्यटन जीवन स्तर की वृद्धि में सहायक है , अतः ग्रामीण विकास हेतु , ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों को पर्यटन साइट्स से जोड़ना होगा जिसके लिए ग्रामीण नवसंरचना ,बिजली, जल , संस्कृति , परम्परागत उत्पाद आदि पर ध्यान देना चाहिए और ग्रामीण उत्पाद और संस्कृति को वैश्विक स्तर पर लाना चाहिए। जिससे पर्यटन क्षेत्र और ग्रामीण विकास एक साथ होंगे साथ ही ग्रामीण जीवन स्तर में वृद्धि होगी ।

गाँव में tourism के लिए वहाँ की विशेषता पर ध्यान देना चाहिए कि वहां की संस्कृति कैसी है और भी बहुत कुछ सोचने की जरूरत है। वैसे गाँव के लोग अच्छे होते हैं। खेती पर ध्यान देना चाहिए
