Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.
Our villages and the people who live there are a true custodians and manifestation of our culture.
As we work towards more sustainable development of our country, developing related hard and soft infrastructure and promoting tourism in rural India is much required.

Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with MyGov invites you to share your views ideas on Rural India- How it can leverage tourism.

Rural villages have rich tradition, environment, exclusive food varieties and are very honesty. We should arrange transport to reach rural india, Facilitate accommodation with adequate medical facilities. ..people should be able to spend 3-4 days without spoiling the environment and respecting beauty and sanity of rural india. Government should allow LTA for private employees.

Government should make beautiful spots where tourists can rest. Rural areas of India are very conservatives. Govt. Can make regional sites or museum on their culture in that areas.

जहाँ तक मेरा विचार ये है कि ग्रमीण भारत का विकाश उस गाव की एक अपनी पहचान से होगी।इसके लिये हमें हर पंचायतों को टारगेट कर हर गांव की मुलभुत सुविधाओं से परिपूर्ण होना जरूरी है जिसमे से पक्की सड़क, जल निकासी के लिए पक्की नाली, सोलर सिस्टम जल मीनार, गाव मै सोलर पैनल लाइटे होनी चाहिए।मेरा ये मानना है कि जिस प्रकार हर इन्सान मैं भगवान ने कोई न कोई खूबियां दी है बस उसे पहचाने की जरूरत है उसी प्रकार हर गाव की भी कोई न कोई खूबी होगी ही बस उसे पहचान कर उसका हमे विकास करना है।हर गाव अपनी पहचान के साथ जियै।

Agriculture study,prgrmm, should be must that how we get eatable things and who provide us n by how compromise and deal showing everything give free courses and exprnc with farmers too tht how do shieving,farming,fertilizer n all..
