Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.
Our villages and the people who live there are a true custodians and manifestation of our culture.
As we work towards more sustainable development of our country, developing related hard and soft infrastructure and promoting tourism in rural India is much required.

Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with MyGov invites you to share your views ideas on Rural India- How it can leverage tourism.

Respected PM sir, I'm Pratikshya Kundu from state Odisha. I read in K. V NO 2 CRPF Bhubaneswar. My father is a CRPF police in Jammu and Kashmir. I help poor people and give them some money. I can't tease them. I love the read and write.

सर नमस्कार, मेरे जिल्हा बुलडाणा महाराष्ट्र मे एक भी केंद्रीय विद्यालय नही है यहा सिव्हिल स्कूल अपनी मनमानी फीस वसुळते है गरीब लोगो की इतनी औकात नही है हजारो रुपये देकर बच्चो को पढ़ा सके महोदय इस कारण बुलढाणा ज़िला महाराष्ट्र में जल्दी से जल्दी केन्द्रीय विद्यालय संगठन को खोलने की महान कुलटा करें गरीब बच्चों का भला करे जयहिंद

Maybe, we can leverage agro-tourism. Maybe get tourists to experience rural India by living in rural farms. Also, farm to food restaurants can enable farmers to sell their products at a much higher margin.

(1) पारम्परिक कुटीर-उद्योगों की पहचान कर,उन्हैं प्रोत्साहित करने का प्रयास किया जान हितकर रहेगा। (2) कोई फल,फूल,कला,संगीत, पशु-पैंठ,विशेष रेसिपी के लिये,पहचान रखनेवाले,गाँव या कस्बे का विकास व सौन्दर्यीकरण , प्रतियोगतात्मक आयोजन किये जाने से भी,पर्यटन का विकास संभव है।

जहां तक मेरा विचार है ग्रामीण भारत को यदि सशक्त बनाना है तो सबसे पहले ग्रामीण लोगो मे शिक्षा का विस्तार, रोड कनेक्टिविटी, हर लोगो की पहचान, ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के हर स्थान का डाटा, युवाओं मे रोजगार, और हर परिवार मे आय का अच्छा साधन हो। ग्रामीण लोग वैसे तो वर्तमान सिथति मे सब कुछ बढ़िया है लेकिन लोगो की सोच अभी भी वैसी ही है जैसे गरीब अभी तक भी गरीब ही है और अमीर दिन प्रतिदिन अमीर होते जा रहे है कारण कुछ भी हो लेकिन इसमें सरकार को दखल देने की आवश्यकता है और हर लोगो को मुख्य धारा से जोड़ने की भी।

pehle to hear ek gaon ko sajabat ki jorurat hai,Jada se Jada haryali ko baraba Dena hoga.har gaon ko paribahan ka and Jane ka subidha honi chahiye,har ek gaon ke Jo najdiki town hai usme us gaon ke bare me jankari Deni hogi,taki Jovi tourist us town me aye to us Goan ke bare me jansake.
