Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.
Our villages and the people who live there are a true custodians and manifestation of our culture.
As we work towards more sustainable development of our country, developing related hard and soft infrastructure and promoting tourism in rural India is much required.

Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with MyGov invites you to share your views ideas on Rural India- How it can leverage tourism.

ग्रामीण भारत मे पर्यटन से ग्रामीण क्षेत्र की अर्थव्यवस्था में सुधार होगा जो कि देश की उन्नति एवं विकास में सहायक होगा इससे भारत का ग्रामीण क्षेत्र आगे बढ़ेगा ।

पहिले उन लोगो को रोजगार की कुछ रोजगार योजना बनाने चाहिए ताकी लोक गाव की तरफ है और गाव जो ग्रामीण के पर्यटन केले काम कर सके और ग्रामीण संस्कृती जतन करते रहेवनविभाग की ओर से वृक्षरोपण आधी पाणी केलीये तलाव बनाय ये जाये

In Ballovgarh a muslim terrorist named Toufic has killed a hindu girl named Nikita.But Modi government is doing nothing. How dare they? This is a total faliure of modi government. This is a faliure of RSS. Toufic and his family anf everone related to him should be killed by hinduism. This us my last warning to modi government.

मैं फतेहपुर, उत्तर प्रदेश से हूं। ग्रामीण tourism के लिए मेरा विचार ये है कि वहां के संस्कृति को प्रदर्शित किया जाए। साथ में पारंपरिक वस्तु और खान-पान का अधिक से अधिक उपयोग किया जाए। ग्रामीण को टूरिस्ट के साथ सम्मानपूर्वक व्यवहार करने का तरीका बताया जाए। आवागमन की सुविधा आसानी से उपलब्ध हो। जहां तक मेरा शहर की बात हैं तो बता दूं कि मेरी शहर में बहुत जगह घुमने के लिए है। साथ में गंगा और यमुना नदी के घाट है। डालफिन पांइट है। भगवान बुद्ध और महावीर से संबंधित स्थान है।

ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों मे पर्यटन हेतु, तालाब, बावड़ियों ,कुओं नदियों के सुन्दरी करण करके उनके किनारे किनारे वृक्ष एवं सजावटी पुष्प लगाया जाय, बस्ती एवं कस्बों को स्वच्छता एवं सड़क से जोड़ा जाये तथा कुटीर व पारम्परिक धन्धो को बढाया जाये , बागवानी को बढ़ावा दिया जाये, सोलर प्लांट एवं पवन चक्की जैसी सुविधाओं को अपना पर्यटन को बढ़ावा दिया जा सकता हैं
