First thought that we get in our mind after hearing "Rural India" is always a low-level thought. But I want to highlight that maybe they are illiterate but they are not uneducated at all, there is difference between "साक्षर"(literate) & "शिक्षित"(educated). They are still having our own culture preserved and follow the same, which one of us even not aware. Keeping it in mind major part of tourism not only attracted towards the monuments but also interested in the rituals/culture that were there.

Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.

Martin Luther King Jr. said, "In other countries I can go as a tourist, but in India I am a pilgrim." His statement is similar to Mahatma Gandhi's statement, “We are the successors of a rural civilization. The vastness of our country, the expansion of population, the location and climate of the country, I think all of them make it a rural civilization. " Rural India has a lot to offer to the people. To identify these areas and to explore the possibilities of tourism in this region, the united eff
