Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.
Our villages and the people who live there are a true custodians and manifestation of our culture.
As we work towards more sustainable development of our country, developing related hard and soft infrastructure and promoting tourism in rural India is much required.

Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with MyGov invites you to share your views ideas on Rural India- How it can leverage tourism.

In my opinion connectivity to rural places where artisans get together, ie flea markets , NGO's like Center for Social Action Pauline ( 9769209197) (supporting tribals in livelihood thru training) on making clay pottery, bamboo art to be contacted to be involved in identifying area which should have events conducted every month 2nd / 4th Sat to ensure convenience for people to visit these places. Similarly also have arrangements to stay over night with tribals / share home food in earthen

Create awareness about places Improve connectivity& infrastructure Skill Rural youth to be guides & hospitality industry Develop RuralTourism with theme For ex. A Geographic Heritage Circuit just 2 hours from Varanasi covering lovely Orwatand Water falls which has cave shelters with over 20,000 years old prehistoric paintings and the Salkhan Fossils Park that has 1500 million years old fossils spread over 25 ha that are much older and larger than the Yellow Stone National fossil park in the USA

शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, सुरक्षा और सड़क पर बहुत ज्यादा काम करने की जरूरत है, क्योंकि लोग पढ़े लिखे होंगे तभी स्वस्थ होंगे, और पढ़े लिखे होंगे तो सुरक्षित माहौल भी बनेगा और माहौल सुरक्षित होगा तो पर्यटक भी आएंगे।

महोदय ग्रामीण भारत का विकास करना है तो उससे पहिले ग्रामीणों का विकास करना होगा। ऐसा विकास कि लोग ग्रामों से पलायन न करें। वर्तमान समय में ग्राम सचिव मात्र कुछ लोगों को फायदा पहुंचा रहे हैं वो भी अपने स्वार्थ के लिए। इसके अलावा राजकीय नलकूप चालक जोकि 24×7 सिंचाई का कार्य कर रहे हैं। उन्हें 19900 का वेतनमान दिया जा रहा है। इसलिए वो भी ध्यान नहीं दे रहे हैं। राजकीय नलकूपों की स्थिति भी जर्जर हो चुकी है। सर्वांगीण विकास तभी हो सकता है।जब ग्राम,फसल ,कृषक पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाए न कि केवल शिक्षा पर

Tourism and Rural Development: 1. Offer completely local theme for accommodation (with clean toilet facility), food (should be typically local), curio stalls, folk songs, music and dances, local attire. 2. Offer door to door service / package and a local guide. 3. Priority to be given to Safety, Hygiene, Cleanliness, ON TIME services.

अब सरकारो जोर की ढाणी गोधाम कटराथल सीकर राजस्थान जैसे सेन्टरो को प्रोत्साहित करना चाहिए मेने पुरे देश में पहला फार्म टुयुरिज्म का मोडल खडा किया है जिससे पुरे खेत के उत्पादन का उचित मूल्य मिल जाता है फार्म पर रूकने वाले मेहमान अपनी रसोई का सामान लेकर जाते हैं मैने देश में पहली बार फैमिली डाक्टर की तरह फैमिली फार्मर का फार्मूला लागू किया है ऐसा पुरे देश में हो सकता है आपको देखना व समझना हो जोर की ढाणी गोधाम कटराथल सीकर राजस्थान में पधारे हुक्म मेरे पास मे टुयुरिज्म पर हजारों फायदे व तरीके मौजुद है
