Encouragement and active support of Government for Village & Cottage industry with special focus on traditional Handicrafts will attract tourists in rural areas. Adivasi Mela in Odisha is a grand success.

To improve rural economy every state road should have local food courts and should be given on daily or monthly rent basis to local people only who must serve local food to the tourist using those roads. We can hsve small small of 5-10 joints at every 20 km so that it can spread to more locals. local should be allowed for fishing in dam near, govt will take responsibility to plant seeds in the dam and provide specific nets. also boating can done by bsracading for security of dam n tourists etc.

Sir, The tourists within India or from other countries are anxious to visit but afraid as they feel unsafe to travel especially rural India. Need a mechanism by which they can online register their arrival departure details once they reach the tourist city , to the police head quarters in the city. Police can monitor their movement frequently on voice chat with them , effective functioning of 112 India app may bring confidence in them. Arrest on crime against tourist should be non bailable .

our village are the best place for tourism. Rural India is just like a gem which needed polishing. For tourism, first connectivity should be excellent .There should be good facilities like washrooms ,drinking water , internet. Villagers should be given proper behavior training to deal with visitors. Some festivals should be organized like fair haat where villagers can show their skills and talents. Proper advertisement can be placed to make people aware of these events.
