The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Girl's education can be encouraged & rebate or discount in fees can be given.I think in colleges & school admissions of more girls can be encouraged either by alloting seats on their name.If reservation is given 2 promote classes which r said 2b backward or assumed 2b backward then i think reservation 4girls in education, jobs & competitive xams shld also b there.Age limit shld b more 4 girls. If more facilities & discounts r encouraged then people vlnot say not2girlchild thinking her a liability.
