The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Many cases are there in the society...Doctors are still doing sonography to know gender and also doing abortion at very high charges. Doctors charge high fees for the abortion of baby girl because it is banned by the government. In other word doctors are making money from this banned practice. It should be stop. Effective policy is required. Reds to the fix number of doctor per month is required to keep threat.

Please pay some attention towards rural areas specially in the area of girl education. That is the only way to get rid of the old mal practices like Bal Vivaah etc which are necessary to be eradicated in order to save our daughters.

It is important to create advantage to families who have girl child. Presently the families WITH GIRL, are at disadvantageous position through our custom LIKE dowry. What the govt can do is to give special privilege to parents who has two or more girls like giving them preferences in govt jobs. 2. giving discounts in their electricity bills, giving them extra interest in their bank deposits , giving extra increments to salary of parents with more than two girls etc.
