The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Encourage A girl child to speak her mind and be curious to get knowledge both indoors and outdoors. be it cooking and cleaning or banking and socialising, be it looking after kids and elders at home or looking after patients in hospitals or clinics, or retail stores. analyse and find a girl child's best skill and hone it and give her full opportunity to get better at it and be independent so that she can fend for herself and her family as well as serve her country.

Teach every girl about their rights. everywhere we hear the sound of male dominance. Girls are raped and tortured. Even in parliment there is no 50% reservation. So govt. sahouyld pass the law about equal reservations. girls should aware their rights. early child marriage strictly prohibited, if any case can noted maximum punishmentgiven to their parents.more shortfilms for women should be produce and encourage the directors of such films.

Communication strategy: Educate Everyone about Human Rights, Fundamental Rights, Constitutional Aspects. Start from the Childhood. Make Human rights and Fundamental rights awareness an Important subject. Not just a Topic of textbooks. Teachers should be instructed to stress on these topics. From banners to Nukkar Nataks, just like a Strategy called SLEEV for voter's encouragement to cast vote! Make it a Right, Right to Educaion! Laws against child labour need to be enforced.
