The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Hello Sir,I am Richa Saumya.I really want to meet you and assist you in your work .You are an inspiration to all the youngsters.Like you i too wish to work for my motherland.I am an IAS aspirant and i love my country the most.I want to work for women safety and empowerment.I request you to make strict laws for female foeticide, infanticide, women safety and against dowry system. In many places women are burnt, tortured and hanged to death.Even there are many parents that kill girl child in the womb.
