The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

For encouraging education of girls i would suggest that from 1st to graduation every month some amount must be deposited in the account of girls studying, which must be withdrawn by the said girl after completing her graduation . If any one leaves studies in between the money in her account shall be deposited in Govt's account.

A lot of cases are registered where the School staff is involved in harassing girl child, I would like to request that especially in Girls schools, Govt. should impose background check / verification of all the staff including peons. Currently no background check/verifications is done for the staff employed in Govt./Private Schools, If We keep a tenant, we do their verification, but the persons who lives 5-6 hours with our kids, we don't pay attention towards them.

Rapes in India is in critical condition and if we see the records its increasing day by day. In this age where TV and internet has made the culture more accessile its not possible to stop it by awareness so death penalty is the only option I see as an option. Change the law if we have to, Hang some them, just do it. Fear can do it instantly.

people should be educated that the boys and girls are equal in every aspect. They should not show difference between the boys and girls. Doctors should not reveal the gender of the child in any case to the people.

Sir, in remote villages of Uttarakhand often receipt of fees submitted in schools is not provided. It gives opportunity to teachers to collect money more than official fee. Schools should be given strict orders to improve the situation.

BBBP#01: No project/group can be purely standalone. It’s interconnected deeply with other aspects of society and if we target a bigger domain for improvement, we can surely get multifaceted growth in long term. Rather than tossing multiple good ideas, we need to understand overall social structure and identify what actually is needed by looking at facts and figures. Limit of 500 chars is not going to help but am ready to share a lot more if given a chance in person. Thank you.
