The Ministry of Labour and Employment is implementing the National Career Service (NCS) as a Mission Mode Project for establishing a network of Career Centres for providing a variety of employment related services. These Career Centres will be the main outreach centres for the National Career Service Project. In this project, a National portal is also being developed to facilitate registration of job-seekers, job providers, intermediaries etc. and provide job matching services in a transparent manner. These facilities alongwith career counselling content will be delivered by the portal through multiple channels like Career Centres, helpdesk, mobile devices, CSCs etc.

The Ministry seeks to position the National Career Service as a one-stop platform for all employment and career related services. It seeks suggestions from the public, youth, students, Research Institutes, Industry Associations, Academia, Industry etc.forCareer Centres on the indicative areas listed below:

a. Branding of Career Centres: A name and tagline communicating the objectives with particular focus on provision of employment and counselling related services to the youth of the country

b. Coverage of Career Centre: Geographical catchment, Sectoral thrust, Special focus groups, Women and youth centric

c. Implementation Agency for Career Centres: Academia (schools, colleges, universities etc), Industry, Industry Associations, Governmental organisations

d. Services to be offered: Jobseeker registration, Employer registration and job posting, Career counselling, aptitude assessment, Job matching, Information on availability of courses at educational institutions, training providers, Guidance on self-employment and entrepreneurship.

e. Technology Platformfor NCS: Linkage with Aadhaar/Bank accounts to meet KYC norms, Integration with other large databases, Verification of certificates and credentials.

f. Network of Career Counsellors: By linking career counsellors in schools, colleges and universities toprovide professionalcounselling.

g. Involvement of Civil Society, NGOs, CBOs and self-help groups.

h. Local Service Providers through Career Centres: Directory of Local service providers like drivers, plumbers, electricians etc.

i. Career Content Knowledge Repository: A searchable and updated database of skills based content in multiple media formats for easy access.

j. Revenue model for Career Centres to ensure sustainability.

k. Public Outreach Strategies.

Most suitable and innovative entries will be rewarded by a cash prize by the Ministry.

The last date for submission of entries is 31st March, 2015.

of the people and the area. the govt should set up call center with multiple language speaking staff like person who is calling from the particular state should get connected to the same state call center were it will be easier for the person to interact with staff in their regional language. all calls to be recorded for better service. a jobseeker can register him/herself on the call center giving details about their resume and ID proof. this implementation can be done by the help of mobile

Teach people to use internet well INstead in the Career Centers. Make them self-reliant. Kindly search for "gearbob INstead". I offer this to even kids in pre-schools.

We must have Volunteer from different government and private sector to have a counselling sessions for our youth, It may be organized in career centers on time to time. Volunteer who are willing to work can provide great counselling due through their experience in their respective fields, Volunteer should have an option to go in government and private colleges & schools to gave counselling to our youth for their career, Science, future technology, Indian Defense. They can use presentations.

Reservation in railway should not before 4 months beacuase there will no plan before 4 months and aatangements if we make a plan immediate there will no reservation available. So reservation can be 2 month or 1 month before only..

As branding i suggest Bharatiya rojgar career center. our new rojgar/career center is the hub for success for employment of students and unemployed people in urban and rural areas. it is also hub for success of jobproviders to get required employee. the main areas we should cover is the rural areas were the people are skilled but are not be to get jobs. we should also cover the urban areas were people are skilled and are not getting opportunities can be employed at rural areas for development

I offer similar ideas to individuals, politicians, corporates and even MSMEs through my sole proprietorship gearBoB. The hiring should be replaced with "acquiring of talent", to beginwith, in govt agencies. Kindly give me an opportunity to express myself. it was good idea but to make practical in real scenario.we have to make some grass root level rule.which can address the young students which have skill but don't get any type of work their favourite field by their caste problem or financial problem or some reference problem.so that thing we should have to avoid for this idea.

Also Government should have Call Centre whosee Job should be only communication of Government Projects, Achievements etc. either by SMS, notification or by MPs/MLA or any group, everybody should communicate to masses otherwise people will start feeling this government is like a Congress and next time anti incumbency will force defeat for BJP the way we have seen in Delhi.

As I can realize that Government is in implementation phase of "Acche Din" but most of people are making fun of this now; specially opposition therefore my suggestion is that Government should immediately should chalk out 10 strong points of current achievement or in pipeline and same should be strongly marketed every day, week etc.
