Our Bank, on behalf of Indian Consulate Dubai, had organised Investor Meet showcasing the ambitious project of Gujarat Government named GIFT. I can share an insider's perspective and that is our invitees could hardly believe it is possible in India. I salute the conviction expressed by the Industry Minister of Gujarat and his delegation who invited businessmen to Gujarat for them to see it to believe. We need to really convince people with our deliveries as such disbelieves are bound to be.

Whenever we begin any work, the first requirement is that we believe its doability. Equally important is that we believe ourselves, our abilities and consider ourselves in high esteem. The one change I could feel in myself, with the new and strong leadership in place, was that my esteem level as an Indian got boosted. I am able to distance myself from the feeling of unworthy world citizen to a national who is all ready to make difference for his country and the world. This in itself feels great.

very first thing we need to get our original name back BHARAT,we are not indians, lets call we r Bharatiyans,if we do so our respect in our heart will rise than we can attract the people from out side to work in our country, like in ancient time main business was export,if we want our nation to be one than our name has to be one in any language, so its time to become BHARAT again which means always towards the light,so when you get the name back it means alot to outsiders than they will invest

In Botswana, in southern Africa. our consulate performance is poor. problem of local people is same like India's far village. small small village spread over country. a good opportunity for KUTIR UDYOG. but due to Pakistani and Bangladeshi people activity, Indian also got defame, coz they think all looks same so all are Indian... sometime they got biased ...... so consulate should take action to resolve this issue. so Indian can live safel and think about local people's life upliftment Also.

We read a lot about NRIs. But my personal observation is some what different. Last year I visited an Indian Super market in Dallas, USA. The Store was loaded with a lot of Items like Rice, Masalas, Kitchen-wares, etc from Pakistan. I asked the Manager as to why he was stocking Paki items. His answer was that our NRI friends are buying more of Paki items than Indian Items as Paki items are cheaper than the corresponding Indian Items. So my Request to NRIs is to first patronise our items ..
