There is huge pool of skills and investment with retired OCI and NRI who could be encouraged to resettle in India without having to land in trouble with Income-Tax Department or Immigration. As long as they bring their own funds and can settle into India without getting into tussel with income-tax department, they would love to settle in India and contribute in bringing foreign funds and provide employment to their support staff.

NRIs and OCIs are interested in participation in growth of India. But there are too many blocks for them to participate. For example, they land into tax-troubles, residence requirements, import duties of equipment they bring into India, etc. Government has nothing to loose, in encouraging such people in visiting and participating in development projects in India.

Need to ease means to open NRI accounts. Currently banks requires Hard copy which needs to be mailed out to the home branch. It would be good if we get those electrically.

Personally I aspire to bring in new business and establish few ideas back in my town, but i don't know what all approvals i need from our govt regulatory authorities. So if we have a website/NRI service contact center we can get our ideas there and it can get it way out our policies

India should promote that NRI must send remittance in US $, and in India, govt must give them higher conversion rate, Which will benefit Indians dollar basket, and rupee will not depreciate as compared to US$. so by this way NRI will also financially benefited and India also

Ballot system of India should be modified as it is multiparty but not two party system. System should be made such that against each candidate one can vote as Like or Dislike. While counting the votes total dislike to be deducted from the Like votes and who ever gets max like should win.

Introduce voting system through internet. This way not only the NRI' can be able to cast their vote even though they are outside but also the Indian Residents can cast vote without going voting booth. Thus savings in time, lost man hour and expenses in travelling, reducing crowds in voting booth and reducing security problem.

Give opportunities for NRIs to easily establish business in India ie encourage them to bring-in money from outside and invest in India. Currently its is easier for NRIs to take loans from Indian banks. In this way, money is taken out of the system....
