It is not possible to put cameras and police every where and hence my suggestion is to start citizen policing. In our country almost everyone carries a phone which has a camera & internet. All we need to do is to provide public a place/website where they can upload photo of a crime and action is taken, instead of giving it to media. This will create a sense of fear among the criminals that anybody could be watching them and action would be taken. This way even police could be made accountable

How ever the central government dream projects like Clean India, Digital India & Make in India will be truly implemented by this Smart City Framework through governments. Basic facilities like 24x7 water supply & energy, efficient urban mobility, good governance, ICT, safety etc. based on we will be implementing Common Service Centers, Nagarpalika Database Information System.
