Yes of course none other than humans The ecosystem as a whole can be restored not in parts We have had wetland say in Delhi where at present we have very posh area of Pitampura but still on the west side up to Outer Ring Road And north side of Rohtak road it still exists BUT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT here even think of making a weland experiment BECAUSE IT DEPENDS UPON THE environment aroud TOTALLY MISMANAGED

Wetland can be thoght as "biological supermarkts".They produce great quantity of food that attracts many animal species. The complex,dynmaic feeding relantnships amoung the organism inhabiting wetlant environment are reffered to as food web.The combination of shallow water,high level of inorganic nutrients nd high rate of primary productivity in many wetland is ideal for developmnt of organism that form the base of the food web.Numerous species of birds nd mammals rely on wetland for food etc.

Any farmer who has got more than 5 Acres of land should have a percolation pond in his field. Announce subsidies as well as pre requisite.

Whatever saved is earned. Govt can appoint water management officers in each taluka to train and suggest the farmers on water Management.

Wetland management major stress should be considered for conservation of water. Practically speaking our farmers because they are getting free current they water the more than required. Request you plan to educate the farmers on water management.
