While ppl definetely need to change their habits and not litter around on the streets to do their bit for a Swach Bharat however at the sametime even local Municipal Bodies need to pull up their socks to actively play their part.And a putting in place a proper waste collection & management system is a must for this mission to suceed.

If the Holy river is cleaned, depth and width well maintained, we could construct small docks at the river bank, which would receive the manufactured products from innumerable industrial hubs in UP by roads and train. Small vessels would load them and transport them to the Haldia dock at Kolkata for exports. Cheap transportation and lesser delays expected. Water transportation is the cheapest anyway.

How do 3 kids get into India without a Entry Stamp ??? Dropped my kids of at Amritsar Airport -also the port of their arrival 2/3 returning home last night, dropped them off at the airport, was not allowed in to assist them because of "January 26," So I returned home.Got a call 1 hr later from the eldest saying they were escorted out of the airport & denied entry to the flight because they did not have a entry stamp ?I went back to see what happened & the kids were sitting outside in the cold
