Puja samagri consists of flowers, incense sticks, milk, sweets, rice, ashes.. What else? All these things are not pollutants as they are biodegradable. The pollutants are industrial waste and plastics. Please don't throw plastics into river. Open a recycling pant nearby Ganga ghat so that plastic can be collected from ghats and recycled.

Everyone just love Ganga river and don't throw plastics into river. Must be sounding emotional but emotions can save Ganga. If people really love Ganga then they will not throw chemicals into it. Puja items are of no harm because they are biodegradable.
