Moradabad is the oldest city of the state of Uttar Pradesh which is called as ‘Brass City (Peetal Nagri)’. It is a very popular city for its “Brass Artisanship”. Moradabad has been selected as one of the 98 Smart Cities under Smart City Mission, MoUD, Govt. of India.

The Moradabad Nagar Nigam urges to the citizens for active participation by suggesting the finalized detailed projects to be included and finalized draft Round 3 Smart City Proposal. All the deisal operated vehicles, Auto Rickshaw, Govt. Buses must be replaced with that of battery or cng etc.In internal roads of Sectors there is a big problem of parking of vehicles.Tile terracing work has been done by the Municipal Corporation but the peoples are utilizing the facility for there own and the vehicles are parked on road side which creates traffic problem which needs to be solved by the councilor with request and persuation.
