Moradabad is the oldest city of the state of Uttar Pradesh which is called as ‘Brass City (Peetal Nagri)’. It is a very popular city for its “Brass Artisanship”. Moradabad has been selected as one of the 98 Smart Cities under Smart City Mission, MoUD, Govt. of India.

The Moradabad Nagar Nigam urges to the citizens for active participation by suggesting the finalized detailed projects to be included and finalized draft Round 3 Smart City Proposal. Here also a ban on diesel cars sale should be introduced The prices of petrol and diesel are negligible now comparing for long running kms. Police should also start challan of vehicles having last digit 1 and 6 on Mondays; 2 and 7 on Tuesdays' 3 and 8 on Wednendays; 4 and 9 on Thursdays and 5 and 0 on Fridays.In this way, 20% vehicles will remain off road every day.Instead of introduction of even/odd policy, the above proposal would be more effective and will definitely reduce traffic and vehicles pollutionto some extent and there will also not be much harassment to general public in general.
