Moradabad is the oldest city of the state of Uttar Pradesh which is called as ‘Brass City (Peetal Nagri)’. It is a very popular city for its “Brass Artisanship”. Moradabad has been selected as one of the 98 Smart Cities under Smart City Mission, MoUD, Govt. of India.

The Moradabad Nagar Nigam urges to the citizens for active participation by suggesting the finalized detailed projects to be included and finalized draft Round 3 Smart City Proposal. 1I have some ideas to clean city and avoid traffic problems. (1)Allow public transport only inside city and encourage using it.(2) Provide Smart card by RTA authority to use all public transport. (3)Encourage to use bicycles and electric motor vehicles. (4)Give important to use water transport. (5)In the border of the city, make huge parking facilities for privet vehicles. (6)Smart city should be green city, make small gardens, children’s park and water fountains.
