Sir, in this matter what I would like to really say is that first in the rural areas, where the mothers who are uneducated, and mothers expecting their first child , should be educated about the girl child and the importance of girl child in this society...and the role that she plays in the society.. The mothers to be should be educated about the girl child education. If this is done on a one to one basis in rural area, then no doubt our country's progress graph.. would rise up..

Continuous advertising in radio, tv , newspaper to educate the people in the villages and urban areas about the need of girl child for maintaining human growth chain and ecological balance is essential. There should be stingent punishment for foeticide, sex determination and sex related crimes. The girl children in orphanages should be provide proper education specially and they should be groomed for a career. In some states girl child is sold for money and human trafficing is there , govt should take steps to curb this. Dowry system is one of the major reasons for female foeticide. India should be dowry free and security for girls should improve by educating men on this aspect also
