Suggestions/comments/feedback are invited on the policy which inter-alia include the following broad areas: goals, principles, objectives, policy directions, Investment, Preventive and Promotive Health, Organisation of Public Health Care Delivery, Human Resources for Health, Financing of Health Care and engaging the private sector, Regulatory framework, Medical technologies, ICT for Health and Health Information Needs, Knowledge for Health, Governance, Legal framework for healthcare and the Right to Health.

The last date for submission of your comments is 10th February, 2015.

India has a rich cultural heritage of traditional medicines which chiefly comprised the two widely flourishing system of treatment i.e. Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani Systems since ancient times . The development of these traditional systems of medicines with the perspectives of safety efficacy and quality will help not only the Traditional heritage but also rationalize the use of natural product in health care. Substantial original documentation for the more organized systems of medicine still exists
