A Committee on Net Neutrality has submitted its report to the Department of Telecommunications. Its recommendations broadly contain technical, regulatory and public policy related measures required with respect to Net Neutrality issue.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is also currently engaged in consultation process on the issue whose recommendations are awaited.

It is emphasized that the views expressed in the report are that of the Committee and not of the Government. Your valuable comments, wide scale consultations, as also the report of the TRAI will help the Government to take appropriate decision on the issue.

I support net neutrality. There should be equal access to all users to all sites & application and at same speed without any extra cost.

Data discrimination is not right. No one has the right to price the user data. Net neutrality has given power and exposure to common man which cannot be compromised if a country wants to grow in forward direction. Sacrificing potential grwoth aspects just to get some telecom companies some million or billion dollars is not at all a very sense full argument. It is time for these companies to adapt to today's world and pivot there business roles if they want to exist not the other way around.

I don't want net neutrality to be defined by the telecom companies. I don't want telecom companies to charge differently for different websites. I want to be able to access anything at any time, without having to pay more for it separately. I don't want licensing for what'sapp, viber or any other app we use.

The basic thing about Net Neutrality is that we either have it or we don't; there is no middle option. So, if government attempts to make slightest modification in order to favour/govern/regulate ISP or OTT services, the whole purpose, advantages, and benefits of of Net Neutrality are lost. So I urge the government not to make any discrimination in Internet traffic and keep the Net Neutrality intact in our country.

I support #NetNeutrality.1. I DON'T WANT Net Neutrality to be defined by telecom companies. 2. I DON'T WANT telecom companies to control WHAT we access on the Internet and they CAN'T charge us money for accessing certain websites/applications on the Internet. 3. I WANT to be able to access anything, at any time, without having to pay more for it separately. 4. I DON'T WANT licensing for Whatsapp, Viber or any other app we use. 5. Access to ALL content on the internet.

I support Net neutrality. ANYTHING,ANYWHERE,ANYTIME should be accessible. No telecom company should be given a right to control the websites, apps an individual should visit.
