A Committee on Net Neutrality has submitted its report to the Department of Telecommunications. Its recommendations broadly contain technical, regulatory and public policy related measures required with respect to Net Neutrality issue.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is also currently engaged in consultation process on the issue whose recommendations are awaited.

It is emphasized that the views expressed in the report are that of the Committee and not of the Government. Your valuable comments, wide scale consultations, as also the report of the TRAI will help the Government to take appropriate decision on the issue.

We want complete net neutrality. That means EVERYONE should be able to access EVERYTHING on the internet(whether websites, apps, videos or anything and everything), ALL THE TIME and WITHOUT DISCRIMINATORY AND DIFFERENTIAL COSTS. Internet is a necessity, not a luxury I APPEAL TO TELCOMM CO.s NOT TO PLAY THE CLEVER GAME OF DEFINITIONS I don't want telecos to control what content I access and what I don't. NO LICENSING SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED FOR ANY APP WE USE. Its against the freedom of people

Internet should be open and free.The governing bodies who will take the decision, I think they themselves can not see the loss here. Think of scenario where in rural areas with just help on Internet poor people also can connect to the world. Companies like Google are doing inventions to provide free internet in areas where people do not have reach to internet so that they can connect to the world and here we are thinking to curb that. If this is approved then it will be due to corruption.

I am against the definition of Net Neutrality given by these THIEVES!The plans that sparked this debate are Airtel's ZERO, Fb's Internet.org, now we as a common consumer of the internet need to understand the idea behind these plans. The ultimate beneficiaries are "The Common Internet User" These plans are going to benefit us "the common internet users" by providing us free internet. These Schemes will not harm our internet but help it flourish. I urge the Govt. to think of the common man!

Net Neutrality means access to EVERYONE and EVERYTHING without discrimination. Telecom operators Cannot/Should not Define/Change the definition of Net Neutrality. We do not want creation of private walled gardens of the internet. If digital India is true to be realized. We want all to have a fair chance to succeed without having to partner with the some Telecom or some government representative to decide what is or can be on the internet and what cannot.

I support #net neutrality. The outcome we all have seen of net neutrality is the startups standing up self and India is remarkable thing. so please keep net out of the control of telecom operators.

1. I DON'T WANT Net Neutrality to be defined by telecom companies. 2. I DON'T WANT telecom companies to control WHAT we access on the Internet and they CAN'T charge us money for accessing certain websites/applications on the Internet. 3. I WANT to be able to access anything, at any time, without having to pay more for it separately. 4. I DON'T WANT licensing for Whatsapp, Viber or any other app we use. 5. Access to ALL content on the internet should be accessible to every Indian citizen

We are already paying more money for 2G and 3G compared to previous years when services were launched. This is just another way for telecom companies to fill their pockets more and more. It will kill competition in evolving technology world. I want to access internet the way i want it and not regulated by telecom companies. This will be true #NetNeutrality.
