Most of the Urban areas where there are a lot of companies in a SEZ(Special Economic Zone) the traffic conditions are worst. To fight this some suggestions from my side are:
1.Make as many alternate routes as possible (Time taking process).
2.Better and frequent public transport.
3.Special timings for heavy vehicles like trucks, tractors, lorries etc timings could be like(9.pm. to 9 a.m. and 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except rush hours).
Point 3 can be implemented easily and will be very helpful

Ek Petro card bnaiye or 4 wheelers k liye petrol/disel isi se mile ye India m compulsary kar dijiye. Ab bus itna karna hai jo jitna jada use kre usse utna hi extra charge is acrd se automatic liya jaye or sidha center Govt k A/c. m jaye. Is se Govt. asani se iske use ko bhi monitor kar skti hai or extra charges se milne wali bahut bdi amount ko enviorment ko clean krne m lga skti hai . Ye wsa hi kuch hai jsa hum Income tax m karte hai . Bahut chhoti si cost se bahut bde pamaney pr rok skte hai

The causes for traffic starts when people change their track and speed. They go with a high speed then suddenly change the track and this point is been adopted from an research and the other causes are:
1.roadside beggars come in between the traffic and the car due to which all the cars has to stop
2.cows,sheep,dogs etc when come in between the car which again leads to traffic
so the solution for this is that all the beggars and cows should taken out from the city

Subsidize public transport. bring more technology in. Distribute Traveler's card. Someone with card gets subsidy and someone without it needs to buy non-subsidized ticket. Each one is charged only when one travels. "a card swipe system".
Make public transport service more reliable in sense of safety(fit cameras, proper lights and divided sections for ladies and men) and timing ( totally unreliable and mismanaged)

Stop giving vehicle loans at low interest rates. Instead charge a primium. Name it congestion charge. Restrict parking space.

Our Traffic Police Force - If only our traffic police can penalize drivers for
1. Driving on the wrong side of the road.
2. Taking U turns anywhere.
3. Crossing to the other side of the road wherever they find the divider broken.
4. Stop road rage.

A Bus Rapid Transit System is the best alternative(Eg: Bogota, Colombia). By allocating one lane of road on each side only for buses (to increase speed and avoid multiple vehicle traffic intrusion), improving the infrastructure of these buses (like abandon older buses with high pollution emissions, ensure regular maintenance for pollution control, move ahead to include new buses), and placing(locked) cycles for public use at each bus stop for commuting the remaining distance from the bus stop.

How about having moving walkways (travelator) as another means of transport in the city? probably can be built above the service roads. We might probably reach the destination faster than any other transport if we walk briskly on the travelator. Helps in some exercise as well.
