Respected Sir, Traffic zones are result of 2 main issues that every city has:Lack of public transport connectivity , and requirement of migration of people from different sectors to the so called commercial sectors of city. I would like to discuss the second point first and the then we could deal with the first with the available resources. I live in one of the suburbs of Mumbai , Dombivali a city 64km far away from the main commercial hub of Mumbai. Literacy rate of my city 99.99%.

One thing which we are still struggling to get rid of is the traffic issues in all major cities. Can we not be able take advantage of the Google Traffic? The site does have almost real time traffic information. To start with at least the traffic police can monitor the traffic updates from his mobile/desktop for his area and take action based on the data. Later we can improve the technology so that traffic signals can it self decide how to operate based on the real time data. Lkng fwd a smrtr IND

1. Allow heavy commercial vehicles through the outskirts only and at specific times 2. Promote and incentivize "car pooling"/ride sharing models. 3. Promote bicycling to work for at least 1 day a week for people within 10 km distance from home to work 4. Build separate lane systems for heavy, light and 2 wheelers. 5. Heavy penalties for breaking traffic rules, no exception, no negotiation. Automatic chalans directly mailed to home (from number plate registration) 6. Plant more trees.

Please appoint one person at one kilometer difference to manage traffic. We should hire people who are unemployed and pay per day let us say Rs 500. This scheme is running very successfully in West Bengal.

After reducing traffic the road networks must be planned intelligently which sadly are not. Then there is problem of poor health of roads in India which certainly create a heavy chaos. Then there is no traffic police official standing there. The limitations in technology also pose a great problem. Most of the street lights and signals are non functional or badly damaged. Another problem is posed by the beggars on signals. There are no special provisions for cyclists or pedestrians.

It is not only about Dadra but of all metropolitan cities. There must be education about car pooling. Our Modi sir is the trendsetter of our country so he himself should use methods to reduce the number of his cars. This is not only for Mr. Modi but for all V.I.P's to set a trend over common public and raise awareness on this issue. These politicians cry about Make In India but they themselves are using cars made by foreign MNC'S like BMW. Even though we have biggest companies like Maruti &Tata.
