Sports Authority of India (SAI) has five Stadia in Delhi viz. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Swimming Pool Complex and Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges. The sprawling Stadia were built for 1982 Asian Games and were later renovated/ reconstructed for the Commonwealth Games-2010 and have potential to generate revenue by way of organising sports and non-sports events.

Force the holding of Interschool(Zone wise) games- Swimming, athletics etc. This will breed athletes as well as increase utilisation of facilities

Allow for Rallies like in Jantar Mantar. Earn for bookings(nominal) and PA arrangements

If you vacate the Bureaucrats from the 1982 Asian games village the economic model can be generated. Close proximity to stadia will allow use by delegates to stay in the village while they hold conventions at the stadia. As one package.

Pl see previous post. .......Recommendations. Both existing villages for the Asian game and CWG be earmarked for Govt Accommodation with the rider that any game hosted will result in their vacation, maintenance and being made available for hosting future games for upholding National Pride. (Do not sell to private parties).

Asian Games & CWG Villages. For Every Games we host, a new Games village is being created.Disadvantages:-Distance. Every new village will be farther and farther away from the centre of Delhi & the Stadiums. Travel time & Traffic Snarls. Distance & travel time for Athletes will increase to reach Stadiums. Traffic Hazards for public will multiply. Use of Existing Stadiums. We move out of Delhi, How do we use existing Stadiums?

put sport compitations all over india commertiallly.put asmall amount of fee to every compitation.we get good sport persons and revenue
