One of the important endeavors of the present government has been to improve the 'Ease of Living'. In simple words, this means that the citizen-government interface, in matters of daily routine, must be made as seamless as possible and as citizen friendly as possible. Among other things, this has translated into reforming many rules and regulations and in an overwhelming number of cases completely doing away with such antediluvian rules which had not only outlived their utility, but in many cases were frankly anti-people. The mandate has been clear - between the citizens and the governments, the rules and processes must defer to ensuring the ease of living of citizens.

Consider for example the earlier rule of seeking gazetted officers attestation to validate one's documents before appearing in exams. That rule is now history. Trusting the citizens was the mandate and self-attestation is now the new rule. Or consider the move to scrap interviews for non-gazetted Group D, C and B government jobs. In one stroke the entire industry of 'recommendations' has been shut down and pure merit has become the norm.

What are other such outdated and ill-conceived rules, regulations or practices that hinder the normal day to day lived experience of the people? In day-to-day governance issues what are the processes or system that can be simplified or simply done away with? Which are processes that serve the exact opposite purpose they are intended to serve? Rules, regulations and laws that serve no useful social purpose but merely create unnecessary red tape and bureaucracy and therefore need to go?

MyGov invites citizens, members of civil society, journalists, students, teachers, police officers, government employees, Parliamentarians, academics experts, bureaucrats, social media influencers, Think Tanks and all other interested people to give their considered view on the subject.

There must be an acknowledgment mechanism for the people who are posting there ideas and concern here on this forum. It should be also backed up by time frame for action to be taken. One must be aware who is reading these posts and to whom responsibility is going to be assigned. other wise these type of practice is worth of nothing.

There should be a system to ensure minimum income after retirement for all sections of society which may include small farmers, small workers like slipper/shoe stitchers, and all those small job workers who donot have sufficient provision for their life after retirement. Also, there needs to be grass root level education for doing whatever investment/saving they have to do for a good retired life income.

Due to "Vessel Blow" in favor of Divyang persons by Hon'ble Shri. His Highness Narendraji Modi recently I have a very good experience at Nashik Civil Hospital, Nashik (Maharashtra). Please see the attachment. My experience will appreciate all Government Officers connected with Divyang Persons. Thanks to Modiji for giving RESPECT to Divyang Persons. The looking criteria of all around people to Divyang persons is totally changed, and they give respect to these persons.

The concern is around water shortages especially the drinking water . In the visit if he honourable PM to Israel, there was demo given of purifying sea water to drinking water. What is stopping us from getting that technology and ensuring citizens can at least be provided drinking water by the people elected government. Happy to be actively involved in such projects if required

For growth economy and increase per capita income and bring harmony in income. decentralise the industry. As you know india's eastern zone is backward position so my suggestion is to set up new industry in eastern part for booming in socio economic growth. Which is a ultimate growth of nation.

For easing life of citizens we have to less inflation first and be focused on some adulteration products. After that put swacch bharat abhiyan to each and every village and give some yoga tips to them so village people also get rid of different diseases.Further we have water problem in many states of india please provide them water.
