Sir,many national and state highways are being upgraded from 2 to 4 lanes. The widening is being done on both sides of existing roads and standing matured and green trees are being felled in hundreds in number per kilometer ON BOTH SIDES.
In any case the govt has to pay compensation. IF WIDENING IS DONE ON ONLY ONE SIDE, wherever possible, about 40 percent or lacks of green standing trees can be saved.
The side of widening may be selected by a simple criteria of having lesser no. of trees.

Respected sir,
There is need to enforce the implementation of traffic rules. It is a normal practice to break the rules..by rule makers, rules executors and followers. There should be zero tolerance in following the traffic rules.
Let there be 100% transprancy at all stages in offices. Corruption in any form by the Govt. employee, public representative and a common man and offering a bribe..in any form should be punishable.

The supreme court has ordered long back that any person who brings a person injured in road accident to a hospital, shall not be detained on the pretext of arrival of police. But the private hospitals are not following this order, and people are avoiding help to such accident victims.
My request is that all hospitals must display the provision of this SC order in bold letters at their reception counter and their commitment to follow it. This will save many lives obviously. Thanks and regards!
