One of the important endeavors of the present government has been to improve the 'Ease of Living'. In simple words, this means that the citizen-government interface, in matters of daily routine, must be made as seamless as possible and as citizen friendly as possible. Among other things, this has translated into reforming many rules and regulations and in an overwhelming number of cases completely doing away with such antediluvian rules which had not only outlived their utility, but in many cases were frankly anti-people. The mandate has been clear - between the citizens and the governments, the rules and processes must defer to ensuring the ease of living of citizens.

Consider for example the earlier rule of seeking gazetted officers attestation to validate one's documents before appearing in exams. That rule is now history. Trusting the citizens was the mandate and self-attestation is now the new rule. Or consider the move to scrap interviews for non-gazetted Group D, C and B government jobs. In one stroke the entire industry of 'recommendations' has been shut down and pure merit has become the norm.

What are other such outdated and ill-conceived rules, regulations or practices that hinder the normal day to day lived experience of the people? In day-to-day governance issues what are the processes or system that can be simplified or simply done away with? Which are processes that serve the exact opposite purpose they are intended to serve? Rules, regulations and laws that serve no useful social purpose but merely create unnecessary red tape and bureaucracy and therefore need to go?

MyGov invites citizens, members of civil society, journalists, students, teachers, police officers, government employees, Parliamentarians, academics experts, bureaucrats, social media influencers, Think Tanks and all other interested people to give their considered view on the subject.

Honorable Prime Minister: I belongs to IT industry and wanted to develop a S/W to help parents to find their missing child. I have done ground work and performed research. As a conclusion I am having a very good proposal presentation for development of this software. I want this software to be accessible for everyone who cares about their child at minimal cost or free. Abolish the caste based reservation system and introduce income based reservation which may help the poor to get their reservation quota. In caste based reservation system only those rich people in that category gets the chance (due to their upper handedness and ability to reach all information at the correct time and also able to spend money to do special coachings). Poorer gets poorer. Richer gets reservationa. Abolish Caste based reservation system and bring Income based reservation

I had invested in 8% cumulative (Taxable) bonds 2003 with state bank of india in 2017. Now I have been asking them for certificate of Interest accrued and tax deducted thereon if any,for the financial year ended 31/3/2018. They are verbally refusing to provide the same saying that it will be provided at the maturity of the bonds and shall be deducting tax on total interest of all the six years i.e after six years in 2023. They are not replying to my written e-mails on the subject.

While giving some subsidies to farmers who were using chemical fertilizers, please consider the organic farmers and give some man and machine power help to them as much as possible which can also encourage performing organic farming among those inorganic farmers mind.

accha hai governments aware rahe.Public cash memo ya sahi service ya sahi saman ke liye har din har jagah kich kich nahi karna chahti or Karna bhi nahi chahiye kyunki hum ne government or usne machinery establish ki hai in chizon ke liye.Mein kayi public parks me gaya hun coupon katwakar andar ja kar kabad dekha hai or phir samajh aata hai ye samajhne wale nahi to maine in parks ka boycott kar diya kyunki nahi chahiye mujhe ye gandagi,andar hi andar khichdi pakane wale aur khane wale log.

Sir in Article 171 Clause 3 of Indian Constitution point d) Is unnecessary. Since Legislative Assembly Members are already members of Vidhansabha themselves why do they need to elect their representative for Legislative Council? Instead there must be provision for farmers to elect their representative to Legislative Council.
