Both LPG and kerosene should be sold at market price. For LPG, subsidy should be reduced over time. Currently subsidy equivalent to 6 cylinders a year (enough for a family of 4) should be directly transferred to citizen's account. Kerosene is used for EWS of society but it should be sold at market price and subsidy for the consumption of a family of 4 should be transferred to citizen.

It is renowned fact that India is dependent on foreign sources for its crude requirement. The prices of petrol & diesel which are the major sources of fuel get affected due to many factors like slowdown by OPEC, forex fluctuations. It is suggested we create a energy fluctuation fund to stabilize the prices of the fuels. When there is a drop in the prices the fund may be be buffered up to cushion against any increases in the prices. This shall be a relief to the bleeding PSU.

In my opinion this shall impress middle class and higher middle class if government makes a sincere efforts to collect the tax from tax evaders. Let government publish data on tax collected from tax evaders. This shall bring in transparency in system and people would be happy to give off the subsidy. Just speaking on black money doesn't impression any one. Publish data on tax collected from tax evaders and how much it contributed to reduce the subsidy. This exercise for 2-3 years can bring trans

In my opinion,LPG and Kerosene should be sold at full price (without
subsidy) to all income tax payers having income of Rs. 10 lakhs or
more before any deduction.Beside this,no subsidised kerosene for LPG
connection holders

Those who opt for LPG cylinders without subsidy shall have the privilege of getting Gas cylinders on demand or limited to 15 per year. Including me, for all who are earning more than that of a Class I officer need not be given LPG gas at a subsidy rate. Lets us help the nation.

The amount of loss of Crude oil and other Hydrocarbons to flare should be minimized. This will ensure lot of energy savings and reduce environmental hazards too.

India consumes lot of LPG in cooking food. If we install solar cookers in all buildings, then there will be two advantages: One, LPG will be saved drastically. Two, people will come closer as they will cook together.
