A huge amount of Govt. money is spent on subsidy of petroleum products. The Govt. had to spend Rs. 1,39,869 crore on account of subsidy on petroleum products in the year 2013-14. ...

A huge amount of Govt. money is spent on subsidy of petroleum products. The Govt. had to spend Rs. 1,39,869 crore on account of subsidy on petroleum products in the year 2013-14. As, the indigenous availability of crude Oil and LPG is limited, these are imported in huge quantities to fulfill the demand of the country.  As Govt. provides domestic LPG and PDS Kerosene on subsidised price, this results in huge subsidy burden on Govt. Due to presence of dual pricing(subsidized and non-subsidized) in LPG and SKO, there is a diversion of subsidized LPG and Kerosene into commercial usage. Although Govt. has taken several initiatives to reduce this diversion of subsidized LPG and PDS Kerosene, public participation is solicited to suggest ways for reducing diversion in LPG and PDS Kerosene.

You are invited to suggest ideas to reduce diversion and the subsidy burden on account of LPG and Kerosene.

SUBSIDIZED & NON-SUBSIDIZED COMMERCIAL LPGs LOOK DIFFERENT! SO, IF RAIDS ARE CARRIED OUT -- HOTELS & RESTAURANTS COULD BE EASILY CAUGHT! HOWEVER, THERE HAS BEEN NO NEWS ABOUT RAIDS CARRIED OUT. WHY IS THIS SO?

PRICE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUBSIDIZED & NON-SUBSIDIZED PETRO PRODUCTS LIKE LPG, KEROSENE etc SHOULD BE MADE LESS PROGRESSIVELY. DIESEL HAS BEEN NOW BECOME MARKET DETERMINED USING THIS PROCESS BY REDUCING PRICES BY Rs. 0.50 EVERY MONTH FOR ABOUT A YEAR. SIMILAR PROCESS NEEDS TO BE DONE FOR LPG & KEROSENE. BPL FAMILIES COULD GET HIGHER SUBSIDY THAN OTHER POOR PEOPLE. RICH PEOPLE EARNING MORE THAN Rs. 10 Lacs ANNUALLY COULD BE EXEMPTED FROM SUBSIDY.

conti..cards and the aadhar number of family members can also be included in it .further the building taxand land tax paid by person for his house can be acertained through panchayats. IF these two data are clubbed together culprits can be detected.Further a family which pays building tax /land tax below a certain limit can be excluded from the BPL list.

malpractices can be prevented.Regarding kerosene which is distributed through ration shops the most of subsidised kerosene goes to most ineligible persons .a poor person having 5 cents of land and a shed in it is considered Apl as he posses home and land!!! while rich persons through bribery have found place in BPL list..Redefined criteria like physical assets possesed by the person eg house in which a person lives along with his family lives.Family details can be found out through ration conti.

Sir Not only in the industrial sector there is corruption in the domestic sector too.People from the same family applying for connection is another problem.Through verification needed and gas dealers should have specificcodes for consumers for eg :a house in a particular steet should be coded as E5 and they should mark the column as soon as the gas cylinders are given.And this marking should be based on the physical location of the house and not according to the address given.in this way conti..

IF a consumers consumes less then 6 cylanders it should be apprieciated by way of giving some concession in next year billing amount. A large number or indian are interested in reducing their expenditure in such a way.

sir, with due respect, i am very much inspired and feel proud of having PM like you. i am here to draw your attention to these days most important topic for our economy i.e. SUBSIDY, sir i wish you to launch a SUBSIDY FREE INDIA REVOLUTION, i named it too as "SUBSIDY CHHORO, AAGE BADHO". our ministry working hard for lpg subsidy but isn't getting success as it would be,i have to share my few thoughts with you but 500 words are not enough here, pls allow me to send further email again, regards

Is Govt really serious about prevention of diversion of LPG ????? The solution remains buried in Govt files. All OMCs are sitting on the Anti Pilfer Device project since last four years. Having finallised equipment for pilot project at LONI ( U.P) , after Global bid. One fails to understand , what ideas Govt wants to know fron citizens, if they intend to do nothing in this direction ...... Look into the papers deep buried in the almirahs of the MoP&NG...................

Citizens who have linked their LPG connection with AADHAR card are getting Rs. 20 costlier gas supply as compared to those who have not yet linked their connection with AADHAR card. Modi ji please intervene.
