We still need to address the grass root issues. The issues as to why IOC or BPCL has huge cost involved in transportation of this product. We need to look into that, if proper commercial in logistics which include Sea and trucking including pipeline layout is done we will be bearing the lowest costs. Increase indian tonnage for carrying our own cargo.

The price of crude oil is crashing. It is known fact that it will bounce back some time in future. We should take maximum benefit of present crash. OMCs(oil marketing companies) should issue petrol cards through which we can buy as many liters as we can and keep it in Demat form. OMCs can in turn buy future contracts in commodities market. This will lead to clear estimation of inflation as we will know the transportation cost for next 2 to 5 years. Care should be taken to curb speculation.

i think there should be no subsidies on purchase of kerosene
instead those using it should be encouraged to use alternative fuels
construction of biogas plants in rural areas
should get more investments

I suggest that close Quota system of kerosene in p.d.s . we can establish supply system of kerosene for poor, BPL group and migration people with real prize & without rationcard at every PANCHAYAT & NAGAR PALLIKA to stop black market by kerosene pump like petrol pump style.

Minister for Petroleum & Gas would do well to pay serious attention to piped gas project for 200 cities which is well behind schedule. PM had referred to this in his pre-general election speeches. Early implementation of the project would not only reduce diversion of LPG/Kerosene but would also conserve energy used in ferrying gas cylinders to & fro to filling centres and last mile distribution. No. of LPG/Kerosene connections would also go down.

A lot of wastage happens in the distribution of cylinders by the vendors.Pipeline gas distribution should be encouraged.

Each distributor must keep biometric instruments to record beneficiary's recognitions.the record must match when delivery is given.
