A huge amount of Govt. money is spent on subsidy of petroleum products. The Govt. had to spend Rs. 1,39,869 crore on account of subsidy on petroleum products in the year 2013-14. As, the indigenous availability of crude Oil and LPG is limited, these are imported in huge quantities to fulfill the demand of the country.  As Govt. provides domestic LPG and PDS Kerosene on subsidised price, this results in huge subsidy burden on Govt. Due to presence of dual pricing(subsidized and non-subsidized) in LPG and SKO, there is a diversion of subsidized LPG and Kerosene into commercial usage. Although Govt. has taken several initiatives to reduce this diversion of subsidized LPG and PDS Kerosene, public participation is solicited to suggest ways for reducing diversion in LPG and PDS Kerosene.

You are invited to suggest ideas to reduce diversion and the subsidy burden on account of LPG and Kerosene.

If government employees are involved in distribution of LPG, Kerosene, the diversion will never stop. Find out ways to outsource it or through some other means, in which regular government employees working in Central/State/Local governments or any of its PSUs are kept out.

subsidies on single child 100%, two child 25%, more than two child 0% subsidies and 20% extra tax on every child because rich person can handle more than two child. Why we bare their burden on our shoulder...we two our one Jai Hind.

Give benefits to car pul people in highway toll, Parking fees, Fine etc. like if people travel two or more then they should get benefits in toll road and pay less money then other. same rules we can apply for inside city or village and promote to use efficient vehicle. also we can give benefit of avoid long line in government office if people visit using non petrol or diesel vehicle etc..

The best, straightforward and effective option is TO REMOVE ALL SUBSIDIES ON LPG and KEROSENE. Subsidies have been the root cause of corruption and diversion and adulteration. Also these subsidies are taken more by rich people, whether in transport or farm sector. The poor hardly benefit. Also distributing these subsidies involves having departments and personnel in government which is wasteful employment and of resouces and manpower.

Sense of entitlement is more apparent in PSU employees. More transparency in working and core disciplines upliftment should be the focus to keep up the commitment levels.
