sir i m a student of class10.diwali is the festival of lights, but now its the festival of SOUND.people in our locality spend lakhs individually on crackers and the old people,babies suffer from shocks.we cant forget that birds and animals die due to noise.after diwali for months the sky remains smoky which tell us about the high pollution.my request is just to ban crackers which produce noise, urgently.we can celebrate it by lighting diyas. environment is important than cultural celebration. TY

Dear PM, This is very important resource and most difficult to implement. Needs wide infrastructure changes. However, One suggestion is please stop all the SEWAGE pipes flowing into local river/ponds/lakes etc. We need to figure out this.

Honorable Prime Minister Ji, I am a freshwater researcher who completed his MPhil/PhD degree from King's College London, UK on "River conservation in the Indian Himalayas". I have recently published an article in Current Science journal highlighting a novel strategy (freshwater fish safe zones for rivers) which could be utilized to save our precious rivers. Village level leadership has a direct and the most significant bearing on the scope and effectiveness of community participation. However, often political party bias creates devastating effects on community participation leading to lopsided implementation of major decisions for community development. So, in my view, there should be strict rules for maintaining absolute transparency of village level leadership as an apolitical entity.

Activities run under this programme is really fantastic....But the situation is so poor just because of corruption and not aware about this activity hence the most of amount is wrongly used.
