As a Agricultural Engineering student we have a scope in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering and in studies we have gone through PRA(participatory Rural Apraisal) method in IWMP.It is impossible to only by a central body to plan the watershed programme be sitted on Delhi or in a point.it sholud be broad casted in each zones and the zonal surveyors should go to the rural/watershed areas ,to the people to know their requirement and possibilities to be projected.

It is stated by DJB the cost incurred by board is around Rs.28 per Kl per month for water supply and sewage connection. It means that cost of safe drinking water is only two paisa per liter. If DJB supply drinking water to each colony like mother dairy or automatic vending machines, at the cost of 10 paisa per liter. Everybody will be happy to pay for it. Waste treated water and other water may be treated for general purpose requirement and may be supplied at a very low cost. Not only DJB will earn profit, the health of citizen of Delhi will improve.

In Maharashtra about 3700 farmers committed suicide because of ill managed policies of the ruling parties, i request that in the hustings bjp should ensure rehabilitation of the farmers family who had lost their bread runners. My one more suggestion is that experienced professionals with their affliation to govt policies be inducted in the ministries to aid minister concern in formulation new ploicies and monitoring of the projects run by exchequer funds e.g infra and other projects.

Govt should made compulsory rain water harvesting at house of our country so that each single drop should go into earth. Which results is that we will not going to face problems of drinking water. As rain water goes waste due infrastructure development. Govt should make law to use only needed water. Most water going waste.
