the Apathy of the students is such that they loose on admission to premier institute as the cut-offs are mindblowing high. On the other hand state universities donot have quality education - which restrict their employbility. Secondly there are no proper campus interview held - so they have degree (which is acquired mostly by copying and submission of copied assignment - no experience as industrial trainings are also mocked & campus interviews are also mocked) but no jobs and bleak future.

Creating infrastructure (buildings) without adequate teaching skills is waste of national resources. Encourage compulsory tie-ups with international institutes or adoption of institutes in backward areas by Premier institute of the country. Only then we will be able to get worth out of State public universities. We interviewed so many graduates and even BE but they lack practical knowledge and also etiquettes-not their fault no such exposure in their college. So focus on improving quality.

No weightage should be given to marks obtained in class 12th std. for admission to IITs as: 1.Mass scale copying is resorted in so many places of Bihar, MP,UP etc. 2. State Board papers are leaked. 3. Every state has its own syllabus of 12th std. The methodology used to asses the marks to be added for JEE selection can not be 100% correct and fair,while even a fraction of mark is vital for selection.

Remove reservation based on Caste, Keep it based on poverty line, merit and physical disabilities. Stop DONATION in Schools, colleges and now we have it for pre-nursery too. Provide opportunity for Students to learn the subject which they like and are good in. Have counselling session with Students to understand their interest, help them to find their true abilities and advise them choosing right education path.

Respected Sir,today Delhi University is facing a problem regarding masters admission in colleges.A qualifying level of marks is set but some students miss the chance because of 1 or 2 marks.As a result somewhere around 50% of the seats are left unoccupied.Why can't be a there a provision of giving some grace marks so that seats are filled.I have faced the same problem in 2012.i wanted to do my masters then continue with Ph.d so i could become a proffesor but i was not selected because of 2 marks

VC should be as far as possible a non political person of very high caliber. Further Govt.should allow only big private universities and discourage small pvt universities mushrooming in all states.this will increase healthy competition and state universities will have to upgrade to remain in competition.

Appointment of Vice Chancellors: Many universities remain without a full time qualified Vice Chancellor for many years. VC positions generally politically motivated in the hand of State Governors. Many Governors demand crores of rupees in return of appointing a VC. Modi governement should consider giving the responsibility to University Grant Commission for hiring VCs. Secondly I suggest that university education curriculum should focus on entrepreneurship education.
