For engineering colleges , 2 steps are immediately required: 1 Align syllabus with Industry need. Hardly 20% of what we learn in college is used in industry. What IT companies teach to new joiness in 2 months is much more than what students learn in 4 yrs 2 Align # of college seats with current and futuristic demand. 70% of engineers from non IT branch joins IT industry and ultimately IT companies train them. What a waste of resources just because of lack of planning. LET US REVAMP IT NOW

In public universities, emphasis should be on producing leaders of knowledge with total dedication to acquiring expertise in concerned subject of study.Faculty must also be of international high standard.Computer and internet have made that possible if effort and time are given and idea allowed to flourish unhindered.Trade Union activities in Universities etc. must be abolished and only academic pursuits allowed till students are students.Let them learn politics and elections afterwards.

This is my suggestion to our beloved PM that in the name of not for profit / under the cover of registered societies and thrusts the privates schools/colleges are a very big source of black money generation. Please take away the legal compulsion for the person or organization to run school /college not for profit. Please legalize profit making by educational institutions and tax minimal 5% tax and 3% If School provides full scale and facilities to Teachers. This will effect black money& Eucation

We want a good education. A single board should be in India instead of state/icse/cbse/ib board etc. Plz create a single India education board.

convert all government universities into 100% skill development vocational centres. anyone who want to enrol for non vocational courses must pay market rates not subsidised rates. to get rid of universities of babu (IAS etc) job seekers, let us recruit all person in govt after class 12. i am MA LLB working as under secretary but that is useless as for a public servant job you only need qualifications of honesty, integrity, public service aptitude, patriotism, citizen sensitiveness not degrees

We should form a single board upto 10th stanadard, which will inclusive of all type of syllabus and which can be used by statewise specail subject like history and geography for separate state. why we should encourage ICSE and CBSE board. which are governed by societies act 1960. and ruling on us like separate government entity. We should restrict them at one level. due to them cost of running school is increased. and ultimately this has to be borne by students only.

For Make in India to be a real success the education policy should be in sync with that. The reason why countries like China, Japan, Germany etc are bosses in manufacturing because they have a good research and development that goes on. Our institutions should focus more on R&D so that first of all we can retain many of our engineers who go abroad for reaserch and without R&D in our own country we'll just remain at the mercy of those countries who share with us their own technologies.
