Physical and mental growth of children, values, communication play very important roles in child's education and emotional maturity. Very important for children to have access to quality playgrounds (and they use it) to help improve & maintain motor skills, physical & mental fitness, keeping stress levels in control considering the ever increasing competitive pressures. Requesting MoHRD to create & protect these enablers through Urban Planning and Policy decisions for Schools for a Better India.

It is very important and urgent to improve conditions of the hostels. There are many national institutes which are great when it comes to education, but their hostels are in terrible condition. It discourages a lot of brilliant students to take admissions to such institutes. Students should at least be able to survive the food and the cleanliness standards and other facilities at hostels.

There are times when cases are running in the court and this stops the admission process to colleges and postpones the academic year. This is a waste of quality time of students which they should spend studying. And then when colleges start late, they just hurry up with or just mug up the syllabus. There should be a rule that start of academic year can't be postponed under any circumstances. Any judgement passed by any court after the start of colleges, should be made applicable only next year.

There should be a rule that syllabus for a academic year should be finalized at least 4 months before the start of the academic year. And there should be a ban on changing syllabus after the start of the academic year. It leads to confusion and stress for students. And students don't learn much but end up mugging things just for the exam.

Higher education should be available in Indian languages. Otherwise it becomes unfair towards those who have done their schooling in local languages. They go to college and find it hard to cope with the change in language and are prone to drop out.
