The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

NEW DELHI: The company operating the now trouble-mired Delhi-Gurgaon expressway may be far from recovering its investment, but it has collected nearly Rs 900cr from motorists who have paid despite long queues and shoddy toll-booth management. But there is doubt among some National Highway Authority of India (NHA) officials about the toll records since the volume of traffic has risen steadily. Why we miss a lot of crores for our development through out INDIA.

Regular health check ups at nearest centers for childrens below 5 years to make disease free like polio free especially for New Born. A commom emergency numbers(ambulance no.) should be made public so that on dialing that number it should ring at nearest hospital. These hospitals need to come forward to facilities to cover at least nearest 5-6 villages also they should conduct regular health check ups to these villages by sending there volunteers like we did in Polio case.

In development of nation, Realty sector plays an imp. role and with it dreams and contribution of million of common men are to be remembered. What is worrying today that the organizations of this sector are taking the common men for a ride. People after giving away their savings chasing builders and Govt. offices for their long desired home but living days after days in great despise. Faridabad and Gurgaon have plenty of examples. Writing to you with last hope that this will be addressed.

Mr. Prime Minister, I need to add that unless every city and Gaon Sabha of a Village is well equipped with a recycling system and a local bodies are also equipped with means to carry garbage, the mission will remain a farce. One can be asked not to spit on road or through garbage out side but one can not be forced to pile up garbage at home in a flat.
