During the exams also the students must continue the same ease at their daily routine like including all the following tasks in daily life. Nutritious food, 30 min entertainment, 30 min sports, 6 hours sleep, relax for 5 minutes every hour while studying. I remember I learnt playing chess during my board exams for class 10th in 1980. It boosted my confidence which I endorsed to my classmates too. We were rather relaxed with a feeling of a responsibility to perform our best at ease, so did we.

The techniques used in interactive workshops for Board students on how to handle exam phobia and perform better are very easy. We mainly try to make the participants understand their mind set about the fear of exams. Let us take exams as a festival, Once this feeling is established the whole scenario gets changed to utmost positive and all efforts aimed to work on the strengths and winning the weaknesses of oneself. Confidence level gets its peak and "how to face" is replaced with "how easy".

When I landed in Gujarat to conduct workshops on "Better performance in exams" in 2001, I had just 25 paisa in my pocket as my luggage was stolen in the train at Palanpur. But it was God's plan I remained on water only for 9 days which gave me strength and one after the other successful workshops helped many students appear in board exams as if celebrating a favorite festival.Later people shown confidence in me and we could set up a sweet home for the earthquake victims for 153 kids.& 30 widows

Conducting workshops on handling Exam phobia for students since 1994, Results-exams become festivals and students score at least 25% higher marks. It was a great success working with students in Gujarat soon after Earthquake 2001. The interactive workshops help not only bring positive change in to the mind set of students but also make them focus more on improving their strengths and come over the weaknesses at the same time. Once they experience this the whole perception about exams is changed.

The students should be allowed to have a critical examination of the matters and analytical mind should be encouraged. If a student feels that the text book does not give the correct view of history, he/she should be allowed to write his/her view also in addition to what is there in the textbook. Now we find that really distorted history is being made part of textbooks. For example even pirates of olden days are now being termed as freedom fighters.
