The major reason of pollution of river ganga is the use of river water by the people for bath and cleaning purposes , also the rituals such as depositing things related to God into the river. I think to make an another compartment for such rituals so as the feelings of people are not offended and the used compartment water thus should have proper drainage line or recycling the water. Also the organic things related to god which are fled into the water can be used as fertilizer.
